In order to sign up with your initiative or project you first have to register on the website. Therefore, click on ‘register’ on the right upper corner of the screen. After you have filled in the required data you will receive an email. This email will give you information on how to activate your user account.
We wish to enable access to participate for everyone! Therefore, you can also register through a web form, email, SMS, voicemail system or mailbox letter.
People who do not have access to the internet will be actively supported by the Building Bridges project management team based in Nairobi. The team will contact you in case any further information is required and will upload your initiative and make sure it is visible on the mapping tool.
How to receive advice from other organisations
The website provides two ways of linking up with other organisations or activists.
1. In the section ‘Yellow pages’ you can find the contact details of professional organisations divided into regions. Choosing a region from the drop-down menu you will receive a list of all registered organizations in the region.
2. Through the mapping tool you have a direct overview of project locations throughout the country. By clicking a project on the map, you will be directed to the project profile. The profile provides you with information as well as contact details about the initiatives and offers you the option to directly comment or leave a message. Alternatively, you can use the search criteria in order to find initiatives or organizations, which are working on a specific topic or in a specific region. You will receive a filtered overview of matching results.
